The Classical Theatre of Harlem is hosting its summer run of Uptown Shakespeare in Marcus Garvey Park, with a production of "Memnon" throughout the month of July. The show resurrects the story of Memnon, the Ethiopian king and demigod, and re-imagines a lost chapter of the Trojan War.
Curtain time is each Tuesday through Sunday at 8:30 p.m., with pre-shows at 7 p.m. on several nights, including on Fridays with Jazzmobile.
On Thursdays through Sundays, come a little early for great food, drink, snacks and more at the Uptown Shakespeare Pop-Up Market we're hosting alongside TBo Harlem.
